
SEPTEMBER 21 On Sep 20, the longlist for the Scotiabank Giller Prize, Canada's many prestigious well read award, was announced, with high-profile writers Douglas Coupland, Tom Rachman, Jane Urquhart, as well as David Bergen in the using for the CA$50,000 (RM150,000) prize.This year's jury, that includes journalist Michael Enright, bard Claire Messud, as well as bard Ali Smith, comparison thirteen books from 98 submitted by 38 Canadian publishers. The shortlist will be voiced upon Tuesday, October 5.On Nov 9, the esteem will be awarded at the gala ceremony.Last year's leader was Linden MacIntyre for The Bishop's Man.
