My stream book, Tell Me No Lies, is no exception. Ive never been the cop in the small city in the Hudson Valley, or an general commercial operation wheeler dealer. Ive never been to Russia or met Donald Trump.

But we did examination the book of firsthand accounts by cops on the job. One guy talked about being afraid. That underneath the uniform, cops always wear the thin layer of fear. we got to wondering: What happens when someones pursuit puts him in life-and-death situations of which hes personally terrified? And so homicide detective Hank Bonner was born.
And how did we get to my heroine, the wealthy, mysterious, as well as bent-on-revenge Alexandra Jane Baker? Through research for my previous torment novel, Dead Ringer. In the book about the brand new Russian robber barons, we examination the small tidbit about the integrate of suicides as well as some missing Russian millions.
