Having loved Gillian Bagwell's debut novel The Darling Strumpet, I am really looking forward to her next release The September Queen about Jane Lane, the woman who helped Charles II on his quest to reclaim the English crown.

As she places herself in harms way, she finds herself falling in love with the gallant young Charles. And despite his reputation as a breaker of hearts, Jane finds herself surrendering to a passion that will change her life forever.
