I always find myself having to explain what it means to have internet relationships.

Last month, I went to South by Southwest. Next month, Im going to Blogworld (Im actually presenting at Blogworld, but sadly dont have enough people interested on my event page yet hint, hint). I go to these events, and I meet people Ive only known through email. Or from Twitter. Its fun.

But when my everyday-life friends hear this, they say, You go to meet people you know from the internet? and then give me wedgies and steal my lunch money.

Heres How Brevity Can Crush Your Copy

This post is all about the extra unnecessary redundant repetition of needless and unnecessary words in written copy that actually make your point both clearer and easier to understand. You might want to repeatedly review this post more than once to make sure you comprehend the concept and are able to understand it.

The Market for Something to Believe in is Infinite: An Interview with Hugh MacLeod

In this episode of the IMfSP podcast, Sonia catches up with Hugh MacLeod of Gaping Void fame. They talk about success, business, and authority, but the bullet that interests me most is the one about how your heroes everyday lives are boring. And it makes sense. Dont you think The Flash ever reads a newspaper? Of course he does. He just does it really fast.
