Saturday Snapshot - January 22

My oldest son was almost three when this photo was taken. He begged me to plant sunflowers, and I was enthusiastic about that because I love sunflowers. What I didn't realize at the time was how big they were going to grow. They ended up being about seven or eight feet tall and you could see them over our six-foot fence from down the street. They were beautiful though, and looking at them right now makes me long for the warm days of summer.
