The Sunday Salon - January 23
Last week was blessedly normal. We were busy with all of our regular activities, but no one was sick and there weren't any extra appointments (or concerts, recitals, sports events, etc.).
One of our cats is a little less cute lately since he's been losing his hair. We took him in to see the vet a few weeks ago and they gave him a shot to stop him from itching in case that was the problem. The vet thinks it's either fleas, a food allergy, or a psychological problem. We made sure there aren't any fleas on him and he's still pulling out his hair, so at this point we're going to start experimenting with his food by limiting what he eats. Here's a picture of our sweet kitty a few months before he started pulling his hair out:
I've been reading a lot and posting very little. (I published a post about it earlier in the week. Yes I published a post about not posting - the mark of a true blogging addict, right?) I've also been getting a lot more housework done because I've been listening to audiobooks while I work. In the past few weeks I have been listening to both the sixth and seventh Harry Potter books (they are re-reads for me and I'm about halfway through both of them), and am also listening to Dragonfly in Amber by Diana ! Gabaldon . I have read her Outlander series many times but this is the first time I have listened to an audiobook version. It's so much fun to listen to that I find myself actually thinking up extra chores to do so that I can draw out the experience.
Today I'll be reading The Weird Sisters by Eleanor Brown.
